I've been interested in the new Game called Atlas by the people who created Ark Survival, I've been wanting to look into getting the game, but first I would like to ask anyone who has purchased the game how it is?

First of All, I did not enjoy Ark, Didnt really care much for the game due to it looked like shit on a 1080ti, and it was poorly optimized if that. Now question is, how does ATLAS run on a RTX 2080, I have one. But I dont like playing games if they run like crap. I like fancy graphics.

Should I get it? Should I waste $30 or Should I wait?

I think you should wait. My friends played the beta and it was buggy and repetitive. Not attractive enough to buy now.

A lot of people are saying it is just ARK (same developer) with a pirate' skin, and a lot more buggy than ARK itself.
A search on Youtube will show you a plethora of videos analysing the game, from where you can build your own opinion, but personally I think you should wait, or not get it all.

Have you seen the news recently about players hacking/expoiting the game to spawn all sorts of stuff in the game? I think it's failing before it has even begun. The trailers look like a more content-rich Sea of Thieves, but when it comes down to it, it's just another "survival" game.
