Which domain to choose when registering a website.

Any that contain exactly the name of the content of the site or that only expresses the content,

but that carries a mark?

.com is always better, if you plan a good investment on domain (like selling it in future)

Short and catchy domains are better IMO (Maximum 10 letters)

Long domains which is contain exact name of content is old school, people got them for seo purpose in past. But it still has an impact on Google search. If you want to target a keyword, you can use long domains.

I always prefer "no number, no hyphen" domain.

A good domain name must pass "Radio Test". You can learn what is Radio test with searching "domain radio test" on Google

The "Radio Test"  is the ability to spell the domain after hearing it from any media source (i.e., radio, tv, podcast, video, the internet, etc.).
In other words, does your domain and business name sound as they are written?
The term "radio test" gets its origin from hearing a domain name on the radio.

For example, Love1.com and LoveOne.com in addition to LoveWon.com sounds exactly same... So which one they are gonna try when they hear it as sound only?

Another example, let's assume someone said on phone "Please visit our website at "toohard2doit.com"..Then what you will try?
tohardtodoit?
twohardtodoit?
toohardtodoit?
twohearttodoit?

Hope you get it :)

"the radio test" is a domainers gauge to buying domains. i know all about it... and while it can not be discounted, i do think the purpose of the name is more important... if your ultimate goal is to climb google or pay for words (adwords) - the more SEO friendly that name is the better... with or without hyphens and numbers.

"Geography(+)Service(.)com" is always very effective and powerful for local search - no matter how many characters this has.

btw.. typically a long domain name with three, four five words..etc.. is called "a longtail"

;-)

best of luck

Shortest is the best. Only letters, no numbers or hyphen. .com of course. Catchy and pronouncable.
