Something I’ve really enjoyed about Jordan Peele’s directing thus far is how well he sets things up / foreshadows. Too many times I’ve walked out of a movie pissed off because something was introduced but then completely left out/not touched on. Peele does a great job of not letting this happen, and the way he foreshadows is something I really like as well. For those who’ve seen his movies, you probably notice the little things he introduces in the beginning of the movie, and while you might not think too hard at first, you might predict as the movie goes on as to what purpose they have. You might end up being right or being totally surprised, but regardless, he knows you might be thinking about it and makes sure to have a purpose for everything he shows. Idk, just something I thought I’d post about after seeing Us. What do you guys think?Akinator

I have only seen his film "Get Out" but I see what you mean. He is a really refreshing director especially for American cinema. His concepts are really interesting and I think his perspective is rather unique. I have only seen the trailer for his movie "Us" and I have to say it was honestly one of the most frightening things I have ever seen. Now that you have mentioned the film I am going to try and watch it.

You are right, he is a refreshing director with an amazing ideas and interesting concepts and points of view. I have always believed that horror is one of the greatest genres in art, of corse if it is well done.

Any other director that you like?
