CS:GO is now about 10 years old, but still remains one of the most played games on steam according to steamcharts. It brought a lot of special content to the gaming scene that never existed, like skins, marketplace, proffessional e-sports(gave it a big push), gambling etc.
But is there any possible way there will be another Counter-Strike?
Personally I think no.
I believe there will not be another Counter-Strike for atleast 10 more years. Valve has been smart by creating some unique way to give some value to the game (skins), and with the current trading scene it has going, with people selling skins up to 100 000$, i don't expect it do die, and neither does Lord Gaben, cause skins = money for him.
And yea, you can't forget about tryhard cheaters who make like 20% of the total playerbase.
What do you think?
