who also think that in 2025 another coin could surpass bitcoin  by market cap , if so i think that ripple could do that .
what do you think about that ??

By 2025 I think the current bitcoin and ethereum networks would be overflowed and wouldn't worth using them. If a new network see the day, more efficent and safe, then it might be this one who would surpass bitcoin.

i guess the bitcoin can have really expensive fees if the price is above 100K

Well that's one of the real issue with that network anyway. Fees could be ridiculously expensive.

Ripple??!! are you serious?
Bitcoin expensive fees???

jesus, whats wrong with you people?

first, XRP is not a native cryptocurrency because it is centralized and is not open source.
second, bitcoin ecosystem is the largest and most solid among user data base as well as experienced core developers, not to mention it hashrate = security + sustainability.
third, this debate is very old because SegWit + Lighting Network + sidechains + DeFi are available to solve all those "problems" you are speculating with.

That is because you don't know how to use it, BTC is for real men not kids.

Also, very few alt-coins are considered this way. >95% of crypto ecosystem = s h i t c o i n s.

bitcoin has the biggest dev community, the biggest in the space ie binance, bitmex and some other actors have mututal interest in keeping it the "biggest". Not to mention it's being transferred into a financial tool right now with Bakkt and CBOE, CME; futures institutional markets.

That's something others never will get because simply saying, there's no incentive in it.

Well, you have to learn first what is the main use of each currency, or crypto file, as it can be used for more things then just a payment value. Etherium for example is used in the creation of digital contracts, and I personally think the currency that will have more use will win the battle.

Bitcoin is mother of cryptocurrency. Bitcoin will stay for long time. Other projects like ethereum litecoin and ripple are nice but ppl always will use bitcoin.

Duh, dude what are you talking about. Sustainability by what? Halving? Hahaha. What security, BTC is as transparent in every way. ''Experienced core developers'' name at least one developer of BTC other than Satoshi, btw. BTC can't be updated, the only development on it can be made by people that create similar coins to BTC, so called fake bitcoins. Lighting network is impossible on the BTC, what are you talking about?
And yes, BTC has the most expensive fees, look up some graphs on the web how it was changing over time. VERY expensive.

Cryptocurrency has always scared me more than fascinated me. If the electricity goes out from solar flares, asteroids, plaque, war or of course pesky zombies...I will take great comfort in gold, food, and water. However, as long as everything is going great who needs that stuff. Bitcoin sounds the coolest I think.
