HWID is an abbreviation for hardware ID, i.e. a unique hardware identifier that is generated based on specific serial numbers. It can be found, among others, on the processor or network card. It is worth emphasizing right away that there is no standard algorithm for HWID, so the identifier number may vary depending on the programmer. It might seem that the serial number assigned by the manufacturer is something that is not subject to any modifications by outsiders and the user cannot make changes to the HWID. In practice, however, it looks completely different and there are many effective ways to temporarily spoof a hard disk serial number and volume ID.
