After 12 years of using Mac and OSX I returned to windows.

I bought a macbook pro 10 years ago, windows was unstable, freezed a lot, and I work in design and I not loosing progress while working was the main reason I chosed at that time.
As years passed, I swtiched the hard drive of my macbook to a ssd and the computer runs perfect.. but Apple decided to stop supporting my device and I couldnt install official OSX for the last 4 years... I had to hackintosh my mackintosh.

Seeing how much an apple computer is against anyone that uses windows, and seeing also windows works perfectly now, I dediced to return to windows 3 months ago, and I dont regret it.

I just miss the spaces function I was used in OSX. Windows virtual desktop is not the same.

I love PC. Is cheap and more customizable.

I have used many macs and many windows pc's for the last 15 years at least.

I used to work in the print industry, and mainly with graphic designers, and a few years ago would have said Mac without any hesitation. Currently in the computer market, the software for Graphic Design professionals such as the Adobe suite can be used on Mac or Windows, so now it is down to other factors. Please don't get me wrong PCs as hardware are great, Windows, well... I do not personally like it, but for some accounting software, games, and large format print servers, plate setter servers etc. You need it.

For a Graphic Designer in particular I would still say Mac, an iMac to be specific, mainly because the colour correctness of the screen for a graphic designer is highly important, and print bills can be really expensive to be left with the wrong colours because your monitor let you down.
Your iMac needs an SSD hard drive at a minimum, or the computer is severely held back by a rotational hard drive. If you can try get an NVME type SSD as they can be 2 - 8 times faster than a 2.5" SSD.

If you really need Windows for anything you can also run an emulator on the Mac, or bootcamp to run Windows natively.
In my opinion a Windows PC of similar speed and spec to an iMac, as well as a colour correct screen attached to it would be more expensive right away.

If you need video processing servers you can use a Mac Pro or powerful Windows PC / Video editors iMac Pro, Graphic Designers a normal iMac, App Developers / Full Stack Coders can use Mac Mini's / Windows PC's with pretty substandard monitors attached. I have personally upgraded every computer I have with SSD drives, best investment to speed increase I have found.

Everything that can be customized is very nice. The computer, of course. Ram cpu gpu overclocking what more do you want

PC has way more flexibility than a mac. Not being told that screen to like and what form factor to like and what case to like is the freedom of the PC. not locked to a single look.
